Thanks for being more than just someone who helps me get organized.
Thanks for being willing to go the extra mile to listen to me and to help me see beyond cluttered desks and closets to find the deeper meaning as to why my office and home are the way they are. I don't think another Professional Organizer would have done that.
You have given me the tools to make the changes I need to make in my life, and for that I am extremely grateful. And to think I just thought I wanted pretty containers!!!
Thank you a million times over,
Lisa

does this sound like you?
You have a variety of interests, things you love to do, and people you love to share your time with. You’re a creative person whose life is overflowing. You have a list – or two or three! – of things you’ll get to “some day,” but somehow the “have tos” and the “shoulds” seem to take up all your time. There simply isn’t much time on your calendar or space in your home for the fun or creative side of things.
Sound familiar? How did I know? Well, I’ve centered my work on helping people just like you – people who are passionate and want to simplify their life to create space for the people and things that are most important. But where do you start? Sometimes it just feels completely overwhelming. That’s where simplify 101 comes in.
I help clients like you in two main areas. First, we'll get you past the feeling of overwhelm and start creating the organization you crave for your home. I specialize in organizing spaces where things get done — the activity areas like your kitchen, home office, laundry room, mudroom, or creative studio. Why do I specialize in these areas? Because they have the greatest impact on your daily life. You’ll love the results. Your spaces will look great and your new systems will help you get more done in less time. (And you know what that means: more time for the really fun stuff!)
The second area I help my clients with is creating habits that lead to a more organized life. I’ll teach you an approach to organizing that you can use again and again—as life changes and your organizing systems need to adapt to these changes. Plus, you’ll learn strategies to maintain your results.
so how does it all work?
The first step is to"create an organizing plan." This is where we get you past the feeling of overwhelm and develop a clear picture of your goals. We’ll create an action plan to serve as a bridge from where you are to where you want to be. You’ll find the planning process to be eye opening, inspiring and a huge sense of relief. After completing this step, you’ll not only know exactly where you want to go, you’ll also have a step-by-step process to get there!
During the next phase of the process, you'll start taking action and creating change. We can work together via in-home organizing sessions or one-on-one coaching. Regardless of which approach is best for you, my goal is the same: to teach you valuable organizing skills and habits you will use to create real and lasting change in your home and life. You’ll be inspired to take action and continually move in the direction of your goals.
what can you expect?
Organizing is a journey. I’m honored to be the guide for my clients as they embark on this amazing, and often times brave, journey. My role is to get you into your comfort zone, the place where your physical space feels right to you and your calendar and life are manageable. Rest assured I’ll take the time to get to know you, your lifestyle and your organizing preferences. Then I’ll work with you to develop organizing solutions that will work for you and the way you do things.
committing to the process has benefits:
excitement and hope will replace your feelings of overwhelm.
I know it sounds hard to believe, but when you have a plan and a partner, you won’t feel overwhelmed any more. You’ll be energized and motivated to create change.
greater focus + sense of direction.
Both physical distractions (like clutter) and mental distractions (caused by too much to do and a lack of clear goals) will lessen. You'll know what you need to do to get where you want to be, plus you'll have someone there to support you in your journey.
greater ability to be “in the moment.”
When you’re no longer nagged by the feeling that you should be doing something else, you can relax and actually enjoy where you are and what you’re doing. You'll feel more creative, more inspired, and a greater sense of joy.
improved relationships with yourself and your loved ones.
Let’s face it, when your house is cluttered and you feel frenzied, there isn’t much left of you to give to those you love. When you get on the right path, you’ll realize you’re OK just the way you are. You’ll be calm, relaxed and more fun to be around. Plus, you’ll have more time for those you love.
At the end our time together, you’ll have organized spaces you can be proud of. Plus, you’ll have organizational systems and habits that will allow you to have more fun and get more done!
