I actually went through all my scrapbooking stickers and reorganized and threw away some I knew I would never use. I also started going through my scrap folders and using some to make my own patterns and did a few pages too. It felt great to get a little organized in my scrap area and to get some pages done too.
I finished up some projects I’ve been wanting to list on Etsy! I felt so accomplished when I listed them last night.
I finished packing THIS weekend for my all day crop NEXT weekend! I’m so happy that I’m all ready to go.
Oh. Wait. That means all my tools and stuff are packed away and I can’t scrap all week without undoing everything I spent this weekend doing.
Darn.
But I’m all packed for next weekend! Hooray!
I painted the first coat on a chandelier that I picked up at Salvation Army. It looks so great! I still need to put a finish coat on it. Also, I went to Target & found a lampshade for my bargain lamp, plugged it in & found that it works perfectly.
What a weekend! I did a thorough clean of the house. I also went through the girls’ entire room & de-junked, went through clothes, etc. It is clean & ready for school. I also filed my huge stack of papers. Did I mention I finished the last of school shopping too? DONE!!
I forgot to check in here on Friday but I did make a mental list of a couple of things I wanted to get done this weekend and I managed to get them done. One was to install the drawers in a new bed that I got a couple of weeks back – the bed was such a hassle to put together that I gave up before the drawers were in but it’s all done now and looking great. The other was to wash the big blankets that have to be taken down to the laundromat because they don’t fit in my machine. I’d been putting that one off forever! Thanks for the encouragement here.

I finished up a bunch of Etsy orders.. I really wanted to paint my antique radio cabinet but I guess she will have to wait…

I finished the green stool and did 90% of the cleaning. 🙂 And spent a lot of time with my kids. ^^
I went through both of the boys closets to see what didn’t fit anymore and to see what they needed for the school year.
I had an awesome finish it friday:
I finished the purchasing part of a special project. I finished my sons 8×8 Disney book of a trip from 2006 (Huge accoplishment feeling). and I finally sat down and finished my June page for the 365 photos project. Feeling good about what I finished!
I slept in and finally went to see a movie! I also of course got the obligatory weekend jobs done – grass cutting, weeding, etc. But I cleaned the entire upstairs of the house. So overall it was a productive weekend!
I conquered half of my laundry pile, purged 2 out of 3 of my daughter’s drawers, and completed the neckband on my dress. Looking forward to next friday!
