Its Friday…but boy, yesterday felt more like Friday than today. Yesterday it was sunny and warm; today it is cloudy and much, much cooler. But nonetheless, the weekend is about to begin. Hooray!
We have a fun weekend planned. Lots of kid’s activities to attend—a basketball game, a Tae Kwon Do lesson, and a trumpet recital, and then we’re getting together with two sets of (dear) old friends (as opposed to (old) old friends, if you know what I mean.) So, it’s clear to me this won’t be much of a “get things done” kind of weekend. Tonight will be house cleaning night since there is no time for that tomorrow or Sunday, and then somewhere along the way, I’ll squeeze in a few loads of laundry. So that’s my plan for the weekend. I’m hoping the sun will show its face again soon—really enjoyed those open windows last weekend, but that doesn’t seem to be in the weather man’s plans.
What’s on your to-do list this weekend?
I have about 10 cards to make for a local shop, some letters to send and a lovely new ring to go and collect! My other half however has to fix the computer, fix the dishwasher and fix the telephone line. All of our electrics went pear shaped this week lol. Have a good weekend! :o)
I don’t have a ton planned for the weekend. My two big goals are:
– read 2 magazines
– make a “Finish it Friday” list with all those nagging to-dos that never get done because they never get thought of when I plan on Fridays

Hi,
I missed out last weekend. I am jumping back into this thing of organization and completing projects. My list:
*Laundry (working on that now and may finish it tonight)
*Capri Sun empty pouches (I will be washing and rinsing them out preparing for the terrecycle shipment sometime next week).
*Travel binder (I am excited to say that our vacation is planned for June 2010 and I am preparing the binder like you made for your Washington Trip). Thanks so much for the neat idea!
*Separating expired coupons in preparation for mailing to Germany Military Base.
*Run errands (to the grocery, drug store, dollar tree).
I think that will do for this weekend. 🙂
I will finish my choir clothing volunteer project — the fittings are done, lists made and emailed to the teacher. I need to wash more shrugs that have picked up a bad smell and return them to school on Monday.
Knitting project decision — putting sleeves in a sweater for my granddaughter — pink with little bunnies. It’s adorable, and will fit her really well when she’s about 6. (She’s 2 now.) I made the “size 2-4” pattern, but it’s gigantic. I’m disappointed.
Several tasks for Primary.
On Saturday, we’re going to Disney’s Magic Kingdom for the last time before our season tickets expire. On Sunday, we have a Sweet Sixteen party to attend! Like you, I don’t think I’ll be getting much done over the weekend either!
today will be…
hairdresser for my daughter
cleaning (at the lounge…there are things everywhere!!)
scrapbooking and then resting!!
have a nice weekend.
Hi Ladies, posting late, this weekend I hope to make 2 lo for DYL class as thisis the next to last week, also, make labels for some bins, laundry AND get the 3 year old over the stomach flu
I was lucky enough to go with my husband to get massages (yum!) and then have a nice dinner with the family.
Today (Sunday) is saved for some blogging, some knitting and a trip to the gym with the family.
I finished my art studio…this has been a long time in the making thanks to you and Wendy and your awesome organizational book. Stop by my blog and check out my two recent posts. It took a long time, but the result is amazing. I’ll be writing more about the process soon. I realized that through your book that I am an open container person…but I can’t stand seeing through things…I like little visual clutter, but easy access. The final result works with my crazy decorating style and is all easily accessible.
