…is that they help you get really far behind with the rest of your life. (Or at least then you have that as an excuse.) But seriously, my kids were home for three of the five days this week! Three. Days. At. Home. (Extra days…like in addition to the regularly scheduled weekend days.) Yikes. So that’s why I’ve been so…uh…MIA.
Isn’t it weird how the smallest things can set your schedule completely off track!?
Thanks for the good laugh this post gave me, and I only laugh because I know exactly what you mean.
Well, it wasn’t a snow day but on Tues the kids reminded me that it was NO SCHOOL DAY-TEACHER WORKSHOP on Friday…so much for MY plans!!! However, my son spent the day at a friend’s house ALL DAY, and my daughter was easily kept busy. I did manage to knock a few things off my list.
i hear ya! we didnt have no days – sick days! 3 days with no relief – no school today and i bet, no school tomorrow.
i meant no snow days. see what being home with sick kids will make you say!???
sorry…it’s so weird to hear of “snow days” when we’re in 70 degree weather here.
Being a FL native, I have never in my life experienced a snow day. Hurricane days yes. Snow days no.
That said, today was a sick day for my little bit. He actually entertained himself quite well while I reorganized the pantry. The next couple of days will be the same. I’m just glad today was happy sick and not clingy sick.
I had to share my great find at Walmart! The sterlite bins now come in pink & turquoise!! I bought lots of pink ones last week.
