organizing recipes – recipe card binder pages

This post also prompted a question about using divided binder pages for recipe cards. Here’s a link that includes 12″ x 12″ pages with 4″ x 6″ pockets, as well as 8.5″ x 11″ pages with 3″ x 5″ pockets. These are really designed for photos…but could work fine for recipe cards that are 4″ x 6″ and 3″ x 5″ (or smaller.)

If you know of other resources for 12″ x 12″ pages designed to hold recipe cards, please share. :)

If you are really feeling cheap, as I am, I have heard you can sew your own using your sewing machine, clear or colored thread of your choice and page protectors.

Hallmark has them in several styles and sizes. I don’t remember how much they cost, but recall thinking they were not cheap, but I didn’t have to pay shipping :)

Thanks so much for following up on the Monday night recipe:-)
I also bought a white tray like your red one below after seeing it here. Love having a simple way to clean up my kids’ unfinished crafts.
I love Ali’s use of divided page protectors, but I’m actually hoping you know of someone who makes binder page dividers…you know like Avery makes for 8×11 binders where you can put labels in to section your binder, but I can’t find them for a 12×12 binder. Perhaps I’ll have to use cardstock and make my own.
        Did that make any sense??
Thanks for all the inspiration here!
