Hello my Finish It Friday friends! I hope you had a terrific week. It’s that time again, time to share your to-do list for the weekend. Here’s what’s on tap for me:
Play List:
- Boot camp.
- Play with paper, photos and glue. This will involve a bit of SMASH booking, some Project Life progress, and it’s also my Pinterest to-do for the weekend.
- Organize with my friend Janine. (Because friends don’t let friends organize alone. 😉 )
- Hang out with Kailea.
- Go to a b-ball game.
To Finish:
- Finish a lingering task. I’m going to leave it flexible, but in the true spirit of Finish It Friday, I’m going to find a task that has been hanging out on my to-do list a smidge too long…and get ‘er done.
- Start and finish a load or two of laundry. It’s another happy Friday with a nearly empty laundry basket. I can’t believe I like this load-a-day thing so much…but I do.
- Replace watch battery.
- Plan weekly meals.
- Turn in basketball registration form.
So that’s my plan! Please share your weekend plans in the comments. If you’ve never joined in the Finish It Friday fun before, we’d love to hear from you! You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the motivation that comes from going public with your to-do list.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Aby,
Like your idea of picking a lingering item to finish… right now I have so many I’m going to have to take a big breath before jumping in on that one, so maybe next weekend.
For this weekend, funnily enough, I’ve decided to try a new practice from the other way and pick an item from the future and get fully organised ahead of time.
Dottie ~ sorry to hear you’re still under the weather. we’re the same here… whole family in the sick book this week. So I’m keeping the list short again…
fun:
– best friend popping by tomorrow to pick up something she left last visit ~ plan to go out for lunch
– giving Aurelia food to play with
to do:
– buy highchair asap… Aurelia’s decided not to wait for me to get organised with weaning and has been grabbing my food and drink, so now I’m in catch up mode
– work on project life
– finish getting organised for week in life project. I’m testing a new system of picking one or two things to get ready in advance
– order valentines gift and check restaurant reservation (if ~I can do this without being seen/heard LOL)
have a great weekend everyone

Play with my cricut???
Dang! I am out of town and won’t be participating this weekend.
We are in Philadelphia, cleaning up my in-law’s house to prepare for a sale. We have filled 3 dumpsters so far with junk that they were storing in an 1100 square foot home. You would never believe the things we have thrown away! I can’t even explain the range of emotions we have experienced during this process. It has been unbelievable, and has reminded us all to never let our stuff become a burden on our own children! What an eye-opener! This is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my adult life. No one should have to go through this! We are only able to get through this with the thought that it will end soon!
I can’t wait to get home and back to normal!
