It’s Friday…which always makes me happy. A weekend fresh with possibilities is just around the corner. Hooray! I have a few things I want to finish up this weekend. I need to donate some books to the library, and “list bike carrier on Craig’s List” has been on my to-do list for far too long. This weekend will be the perfect time to do it…the weather here today is gorgeous. (Though chilly enough to cut a picnic short—it’s a perfect day for a bike ride.)
So those are my two Finish It Friday commitments. How about you? What do you plan to finish this weekend? (If you haven’t played along with Finish it Friday yet…you can find out all about it in this blog post.) Hope you join the fun!
Happy Friday!! This is my first Finish It Friday and I am super duper excited. I just moved this past week so I am still trying to get settled into our new home. Though I would love to finish unpacking this weekend, that is a little ambitious, especially with a sprained hand. So here are my realistic goals for the weekend:
– finish unpacking the spare room
– finish Cody’s new chore chart
– finish setting up cleaning schedule for the new house
I FINALLY got rid of the wire hangers in my closet. I’ve had plastic ones for a long time, but haven’t gotten around to rehanging all my clothes on the plastic and tossing the wire…until today!
I plan to finish the journaling cards for another photo album!
Any suggestions on selling on Craig’s List? I have some stuff I’d like to try and sell but I really don’t know how to go about it–how to list, what to say, how to price, where to meet people who want to buy, etc. Any tips you have would be appreciated. Thanks. Have a good weekend.
I am in too, been rearranging my kitchen this week as a stress response to DH being let go by his employer at end of this year but what I really need to do is shred that pile of papers filed in the back of my home management folder ….. and at least pick up my cross-stitch project 🙂
It’s me again. I added one more thing to my weekend to do list that has been sitting on my “to do later” list for months. I want to organize all my spa day supplies into a single bin in the bathroom (YAY for mini-zones).
Before I forget my aha moment, I want to share that while I was working on my cleaning schedule last night, I decided that Saturdays will be my “catch up” day. So anything I don’t get finished durring the week, be it a cleaning chore or something extra that needs to get done, I can commit to it on Finish It Friday, and get it caught up on Saturday so that I can enjoy my free day on Sunday. Ok, I’ll admit I’m lame but I like making plans and knowing what to expect each day.
