Freebie Friday: Project Life Giveaway!
I don’t know about you, but I think summer is a perfect time to do a little scrapbooking. For one thing, it’s a great indoor activity for when the heat outside is too much to take. (Like yesterday, for example, hello 107 degrees! Let’s just stay inside and play with photos and paper, right?)
What’s more, though, is that summer is also about making memories and keeping things simple, which is why I L-O-V-E today’s Freebie Friday: Project Life from Becky Higgins! (Can I hear a big woohoo on that one?) Project Life is about making it easy and fun to stay inside and do some scrapbooking! So if the temperature outside isn’t reason enough—Project Life is. I’ve been eyeing these products for a while. I love that they are little ways to record life events. I never was a huge fan of spending $10 to decorate a .15 picture, but the core kit (especially the journaling cards) are a fantastic idea.
This is a big summer for us. My baby is due in seven days, we are closing on our new house in twelve days, and life just keeps going from there. With everything moving so fast, finding a way to record these big moments (simply and quickly) would be fantastic!

A friend of mine just got your Project Life set. I have been so bogged down with trying to scrapbook my six year old daughter’s entire life, it’s overwhelming. After seeing Project Life, I can’t wait to get my own and start scrapbooking her life year by year. I feel that I can really make some headway on this!! I plan to include some 12×12 layouts that I have scrapbooked in the past. I’m so excited to start!!! I can’t imagine how it will feel to actually be “caught up” on my scrapbooking!!!
I haven’t had a chance to use these products yet, so I would have to say the kits are my favorite because I need a bit of it all to get started!

This summer I want to remember as having all 4 of our children living at home probably for the last time…the two oldest (25 & 23) are college grads who are working and trying to pay off college loans with the intention of moving out on their own very soon. Our 3rd (19) is working and going to college in the fall and our youngest (17) has one year left of high school. The house is so full of life right now…I need Project Life for this summer’s memories!
