My biggest challenges to kitchen & meal planning are our kitchen is the dumping ground for a lot of “stuff” and our schedules mean that we only eat at home on the weekend. Hope your classes can help me!

My biggest challenge is that our kitchen is 80′s old with deep cupboards without drawers and quite small. I probably have too much stuff crammed in as well. I try and try to meal plan but just don’t seem to be very good at it. My pantry is often stuffed but I can’t work out what to cook with it all. Ugh, the bane of my life!

My biggest challenge is that I only have two drawers in my entire kitchen. It makes storage a huge challenge.

My biggest challenge in the kitchen area is a lovely large countertop that seems to attract everyone’s stuff! Add that to busy schedules and “at home” meals often are chaotic.

My biggest challenge is involving toddlers in the kitchen and in meals. They have to be around while I cook, and they eat nothing that isn’t whote (except broccoli – go figure.)

My biggest challenge is probably sticking to my meal plan and figuring out what to do with all the random leftovers in the fridge.

My biggest challenge in my kitchen are the higher than normal cupboards and the fact that I only have two small drawers in there. My kitchen is tiny and of the space it does have, a lot is wasted.

My biggest challenge is a small kitchen and a very big family.

My biggest problem organizing my kitchen and meals, is the size of my tiny little kitchen and I have a family of 5. I have hardly any counter space and cabinets are sparse. we are family that loves to have meals together every night and that’s important to me for connecting with my 3 teenagers. I would love to bake more for family but it’s just so hard with this tiny space. :(

Keeping the recipes in the kitchen so other family members can make the meals I have planned. I don’t want them to mess up a cookbook. If I print a recipe from the internet we make it but then the recipe gets lost in a pile of printed recipes. I use MasterCook.

I have 3 years worth of recipe magazines to read and purge. I need to get rid of them, but I can’t until I read them!

Our schedule is so crazy and changes daily with the kids sports and other activities. My best efforts at meal planning often get messed up. It’s hard to cook and be driving all over ( and waiting forever for practice to finally end!). I would love to get a better handle on preparing meals in advance instead of trying to throw something together at the last minute (which often means take out or eating out).

So premade is not good for me. I have canned and cooked from scratch for 30 years. I get so mad at everything Dont love to cook Thank you for the chance to win.

I have a few “biggest challenges”. My kitchen is so small with 3 cupboards & an undersink cupboard but theyre set up in a way where the top ppart is set back & too high making a lot of it unaxxessable & I have a sink with 1 counter beside it where dishes go not leaving room for preparing anything. I have fibromyalgia & a back problem that makes it hard also as I dont want to be getting up & down stirring things like I used to in other houses. Now I prefer one dish meals or salads but Im also on solar power so cant use huge energy drawing appliances which brings me to the fact that my lightings so dull due to the solar power, lol. Ive bought home so many fresh veges for meals & salads that just go off & have to be thrown because theres no room to prepare it & I cant seem to remember anything to cook unless its something I do all the time I wont remember it. This means 99% of the time Im eating rubbish takeaways which arent good for the health & flares up the fibro which becomes a vicious circle. Its hard working out where to put things in the kitchen to make it work easier also. I seriously think small kitchens should never have been made as they cause so many problems, lol (if I dont laugh Ill go mad) I have no idea how to make this work for the sixe of it, the set up & my health problems. Thanks for the chance to win a place in these classes. Id be over the moon to finally sort out the mess Im in at the moment.

We have just had a new kitchen installed and most of the crockery etc was just put in drawers and I have no idea where most of it is.

I struggle with meal plans primarily. I have a toddler and am about to have my second, finding the time and getting organized to lay out a plan is frustrating. I would love to have more strategies on how to do it. Thanks!

I struggle with meal plans and how much to cook. There are only two of us and we always end up having more leftovers than I anticipated so we end up eating leftovers and the rest of the meal plan goes out the window for the week.

                                                                    • October 12, 2013 at 9:12 am

My biggest challenge in getting an organized kitchen is that I have too many uses for it. We keep our craft supplies and do art in the kitchen, I have an absurdly large collection of pyrex, I can all summer and have all the associated paraphernalia for that, etc. Even at the best of times it is cluttered! With meal plans I struggle with going between two extremes. I will make really elaborate plans for a few weeks, making unique dishes every night…which will burn me out and be followed by a few weeks of the same four or five easy and cheap recipes rotated around. I try not to do that, but somehow I always get there. :/

                                                                      • October 12, 2013 at 9:30 pm

I’d love to make our kitchen a user friendly place for both my husband and myself, without all the excess. ;)

                                                                        • October 13, 2013 at 7:22 am

                                                                            • October 14, 2013 at 6:33 am

My biggest challenge is a combination of having a very tiny kitchen with limited cabinet space and working over 50 hours a week as a delivery driver. I have no idea what to do with my Tupperware at this point and during the Xmas season I work 6 days a week so usually around that time I buckle and my kids and their father live on pizza and the kitchen enters a new level of insanity! I’m constantly trying to reorganize but it just seems to make it worse.
