We’re out of eggs. I know. It’s hard to believe but it’s true. Just a week ago my fridge looked like this…and now, no eggs. Just thought you needed to know. The egg thing is working, by the way. My husband has lost 7 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks eating lots (and lots and lots) of eggs, veggies and other protein.

Sent out my simplify 101 email newsletter yesterday … answered some Q’s that were posted here and via the web site. The newsletter is good for more organizing ideas, articles and tips (and a little less chit chat about eggs … could be good?)

I have four bags of toys and children’s clothes on my front porch right now … donations for a local children’s home. It feels good to let go of some unneeded things, especially since we know they’re going to good use. And how nice that they come to pick it all up.

So here’s a tip … if you have trouble letting go of your things, seek out a good home for things you no longer need … a place where you know for sure your things will be used and loved. A children’s home is a great example. My kids get excited when we do this. My son (who seems to have inherited some of my organizing genes) has even started purging a bit too deep. I had to send him back to his room with Lego’s and a few other essentials I’m not quite ready to part with (how funny is that?)

Alright … gotta run. Thanks for all your comments and for taking on some of the weekly challenges. Keep me posted (no pun intended.) Check out this one by Emine Pala … she even labeled her fridge  after thinking it was kind of funny at first that I labeled mine 🙂 I’m telling you … it’s life changing.
