How Coaching Works

blue phoneIf you’re new to coaching, you may be wondering how it works. Essentially, everything happens via phone and email, which means we can work together no matter where you live! The process begins with a questionnaire that I email you to fill out before our first call. This questionnaire lays the foundation for our work together. It will help you get really clear about what you want out of the coaching program, and it will give me the info I need to help you achieve those results.

You’ll email the questionnaire back to me, along with photos of your home and a sketch of your home’s floor plan. I’ll review your questionnaire in detail so I can clearly understand your goals and what has gotten in your way of getting more organized in the past. I’ll also review your photos and floor plan with an objective and nonjudgmental eye, so I can understand the traffic flow of your home, available storage space, and see where clutter tends to build up currently.


Coaching calls are scheduled approximately every two weeks and are conducted via phone (or Skype). During our calls, we’ll create an action plan for organizing your home. You’ll end each call with specific things to do before we talk again. You can email me anytime between sessions if you get stuck, have a question, or simply need to bounce ideas around with me. We’ll start each subsequent call reviewing your progress and developing solutions to any obstacles you encountered as you made progress on your projects. We’ll finish up by fleshing out the details of your next project and agree on the next set of actions to take. You’ll end each call motivated, knowing exactly what to do next!
